The Liguilla of the 2023 Apertura Tournament of the Liga MX begins to take shape in a ‘Big Party’ that will debut its format in the current competition and that now includes the so-called Play-In to replace the Repechage.

For this occasion, six teams will qualify directly to the Quarterfinals in the Liguilla: the six best classified in the table at the end of the Regular Phase.

The next four teams (from 7 to 10) in the table will play the so-called Play-in that will pit the seventh against the eighth-placed team in a home match against the first team. The winner will go to the Quarterfinals.

The loser of said match will have a second opportunity to play for the last ticket to the Quarterfinals against the winner of a match between the ninth and tenth-placed teams in the table.
